We have all experienced very frustrating situations where we are on our cell phone or data device in zones that do not receive adequate cellular signal for clear voice or data transmission. Broken calls, dropped calls, or failed data transmission can be especially intolerable in your own home or office.  The fact is that building structures itself is what interferes with cellular signal.  The 5BARz technology is the solution to this issue.

With 80.3 percent of the US population living and working in metropolitan areas, the need for effective cellular communication within and around buildings and structures is obvious.  The problem we face is that buildings and other structures cause interference with that cellular signal.  An industry study was released addressing the measurement and modeling of cellular interference.  That study measures the significant interference comprised of reflection, and of multiple paths, and depolarisation caused by reflection and scatter from building surfaces at millimetre-wave frequencies.  They prove the existence of “cellular shadows” created by diffraction at building edges, or of average path loss of cellular signal in residential areas created by multiple diffraction past rows of buildings.  The conventional solution of adding more towers to the cellular network to effect clear signal for the user in this environment is not an effective solution.  In the US alone, the metropolitan environment is where 249 million people live and need effective use of their cellular phones and data devices.

Like many technologies the solution has gone through a developmental cycle.
